- Regional and global wind potential, types of wind turbines, HAWT and VAWT, rotor efficiency, wind turbine generators, synchronous generator, asynchronous induction generator, indirect grid connection systems, speed control, variable rotor speed, statistics of wind speed, Weibull and Rayleigh statistics, Wind Energy Corridor, Annual Energy Using Average Wind Turbine Efficiency, wind turbine performance, aerodynamics of wind turbine blade, wind turbine power curve, environmental impact of wind turbine., wind farms, integration with the grid, simulation of wind farms.
