- Fluid transport equations: Continuity, Momentum and Vorticity transport equations, tream function, Heat and mass transport equations Classification and application of partial differential equations: Elliptic, parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations, Laplace equation, Heat equation, Wave equation, Burger's equation Discretization methods of partial differential equations: Taylor series expansion; polynomial curve fitting; finite difference and finite volume methods Error analysis: Truncation errors, round-off errors, aliasing errors Stability analysis and convergence: Discrete perturbation stability analysis; Von Nuemann stability analysis Velocity-pressure couplings Boundary condition implementation: Dirichlet boundary conditions, Nuemann boundary conditions, mixed-type boundary conditions .
