COURSE CONTENT

  • Fluid Dynamics: Laminar and turbulent boundary layer flow with and without heat transfer, boundary layer separation stability transition and control. Kinematics and dynamics of flow of continuous media.
  • Navier-Stokes equation: simplification, exact and approximate solution. irrational of hydrodynamics stability, turbulence, free shear flows, chemical reactions, and shock expansion.
  • Rotating Fluid Machinery: Aero dynamics of compressors & turbines, subsonic, transonic and supersonic flow characteristics, secondary flow and stall stability, components matching of total nondimensional representation of performance.
